Ophthalmologists with a general interest in Eurolam activities. Ordinary members have not to pay a fee and can be invited directly by other members.

Coordinator: Extraordinary Coordinator Member

Ophthalmologist with a specific interest in academic development and having a close relationship with the Society's activities, that wants to lead and coordinate activities.

The ideal candidates are young ophthalmologists willing to grow up in the ophthalmology community. The post is selected and proposed by the corresponding committee. It is considered an honor and given to ophthalmologist with an outstanding dedication to the academy. The post is offered for a certain period of time.

Honorary: Honorary Member

The title of Honorary Member may be bestowed upon any person for meritorious services within the scope of the Society.

Process

  • A letter of motivation or recommendation
  • The support of two Ordinary Members of the Society (or direct contact with the coordinators)

The application process can take place at any time, with proposals being considered at the next Executive Committee Meeting.
The Secretary checks the application and requests when necessary.
The Secretary mails the completed application to the Membership and offers the diploma.
The Executive Committee decides whether to grant the membership of the society to the applicant.
After Executive Committee's decision, the Secretary informs the candidate about the decision.

The applicant is kindly requested to note that the decision may take up time depending on the Executive Committee meetings. Information is offered in detail if needed.
